Dear Husband...

Today while you were working hard for us, the kids and I went on our annual field trip to the zoo. The weather has cooled off a bit and the zoo was pretty empty since the public schools have recently started up. (Just how we like it.) Parking was terrific and we had lots of opportunities to take photos. Check them out.      P.S. We missed you!

Thomas was climbing on the alligator exhibit, and they started to circle in preparation of him falling in.  The turtles were playing leap frog. The girls are pretty.

This baby monkey was so much like Julie. She would go and wrestle with her sibling and then run to the mama because she needed a sip of chi chi... then she would go right back to her sibling and start the whole process over again. The poor mama was just so worn out she didn't even put up a fight. I can totally relate.

This is your daughter's response when I wouldn't let her jump the ropes to pet the monkey..a true two year old.

Below are some cute pictures that we somehow always seem to take. I thought you might want to look back and see how things have changed and how beautifully our kids have grown.

I was trying to get him to smile so I asked him if he had a girlfriend, and he said no. A few shots later and he says "you know I was winking when you asked me that, right?"
